The Academic Writing and Learning Center's tutoring program provides FREE tutoring for all UMD undergraduate students; you can book a space with your favorite tutor in advance of your session.
UMD’s tutoring services are utilized by students at all levels and across all majors. A wide range of challenging courses are supported in the center. Sign-in to view tutor schedules in these subject areas: Biology, Business, Chemistry, Computer Science, Languages & Linguistics, Mathematics & Statistics, and Astronomy & Physics.
UMD’s credit-based peer tutoring program is staffed by dedicated, high-achieving undergraduate students who receive academic credit for participating in training and tutoring 3-4 hours per week.
Do you have questions about the online learning experience? Learning Online 101 is a self-paced course that prepares students for online and hybrid courses. It addresses self-motivation, time management, technical skills, and available student support. Learning Online 101 typically takes 2-3 hours to complete.
